Noonish is a social alarm app. You subscribe to a public alarm, and your phone goes off at the same moment as everyone else who joined it. This page explains exactly what we store, why, and how to get rid of it.
The short version: we collect what the app needs to ring your phone at the right time and show you the crowd. Nothing else. We do not track you, we have no advertising, and we sell nothing to anyone.
You do not need an account to use Noonish
Browsing and joining alarms works with an anonymous account created silently on first launch. It is not tied to your name, your email, or your Apple ID. Signing in with Apple is required only if you want to create an alarm.
What we store
If you only browse and join alarms:

Additionally, if you sign in with Apple to create alarms:

That is the complete list. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no third-party tracker, and no fingerprinting in Noonish.
What we do not do
- No tracking. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not combine
your data with data from third parties. Noonish's privacy manifest declares
NSPrivacyTracking = falsewith no tracking domains. - No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No selling or sharing. We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers.
- No location. Noonish never asks for or receives your location.
- No contacts, no photos library scanning. If you attach a cover image to an alarm you create, you pick that one image yourself; we receive only that image.
- No reading your other alarms. Noonish schedules its own alarms through Apple's AlarmKit and cannot see alarms from the Clock app or anywhere else.
Where it goes
Your data is stored in our own database, hosted by Supabase. It is not shared with any other company. Apple processes push notifications on our behalf, which is how any iOS app delivers them.
Some information is necessarily visible to other people using the app — that is the point of a shared alarm:
- The alarms you create are visible to anyone who can see them in the app.
- Your display name appears on alarms you create.
- Your dismissal contributes to the count and the live activity other people see on the moment screen. Individual identities are not shown to other users beyond display names.
Alarms are stored on your device too
When you join an alarm, it is scheduled locally on your iPhone. That is deliberate: it means the alarm rings on time even if your phone is offline or our servers are down.
Deleting your data
Settings → Delete Account, inside the app. It is immediate and it is complete:
- your account is deleted from our authentication system;
- alarms you created that have not yet fired are cancelled — anyone who joined them is notified and the alarm is removed from their phone;
- alarms you created that already fired remain, without you attached to them, so other people's history and the moment they shared are not rewritten;
- your joins, dismissals, push token, and display name are deleted.
You do not need to email anyone or fill in a form.
Children
Noonish is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
